The Pit Stop

An icon of the St. Anthony Sand Dunes, the Pit Stop Dunin' Store has been in business about as long as there has been a parking lot at the BLM site. Kris and Joe, being locals, have been around a lot longer than that. Kris and Joe stock just about every "moto - emergency" need along with sodas and other goodies. Joe and Kris are about the two most laid-back individuals that you would care to meet and have spent their share of time on the dunes. So stop in and grab a soda and hot dog, at least, and just say "hey".

Joe on the left, Kris on the right.

Located between camping and day parking in the BLM Egin Lakes rec area. Easy access for your snacking or moto repair needs.

Kris mans the counter. Most major credit cards accepted.

They stock lots of handy and just plain cool items that will enhance your dunin' experience.

Flags, OHV stickers, throttle cables, jets, spark plugs, riding gear, etc...

Notice the bracket for mounting flags on motorcycle in the upper right corner, above the flags. This is a handy item since flags on bikes are now required.

Ice cold sodas. Way too good after a thirsty ride on the dunes. You can get a corn dog cooked or frozen, whichever you prefer.

Lots of other goodies, knick-knacks, and a nice selection of tees, hats, and whiskey goggles. Also, post a sandrail or bike for sale on the bulletin board.
