The Trailhead from the Desert Oasis campground to the Dunes isn't really a destination unless you happen to be camping at the Oasis. However, its kind of a juncture point from the east end of the dunes to the west. If you hang around this area long enough you will see a lot of dune hardware roll past, from the Oasis heading east or west, the Sandhills Resort heading west, or from the big dunes in the west heading east.
