Later, the group was led to a large bowl. Most had to give it a go and we got a really good show. These pics are here mostly for the Off-Road club but I hope everyone enjoys them. You really can't get a good idea of how cool it was to see these rigs bermin' the bowl at high speed, from these pictures.
This is the approach to the bowl. Ya have to have the hammer down at this point or you won't carry around the bowl.
At this point you are looking down at a sharp angle between dune and ground peppered with lava rocks. You should be doing at least 45-50 at this point.
At this point if you have the speed and power you can climb out. If not, you hit the dirt below and creep back up the hill.
This Pathfinder really took the bowl well.
This one turned out a little blurry but I couldn't leave it out. ;o)
The new Land Cruisers made it look too easy and purred right around the bowl, no prob.
