The Idaho Off-Road 4x4 Club Rides SA

[page 2]

As I and Ralph cruised through the Oasis, headed for the dunes for our usual Saturday morning ride, I spotted the line of 4x4's and pretty much instantly knew that it was the Off-Road guys on their ride of the St. Anthony Dunes. We caught up to them just north of the Oasis trailhead for some quck pics and ran into Sno-Gimp and MacDogg. They were riding along with the Off-Roaders and we decided to tag along for fun...and fun was had by all! The wet sand made for good fourbying for the street legal machines and some good photos. I got so many that I really couldn't leave a whole lot of them out of this page. The most interesting I posted on this page and created a second page of photos just for the Off - Roaders.

Here's the group just north of the Oasis Trailhead where we caught up with them.

Here's the group stopped near some lavvees.

Sno, Mac, and Red.

Macdogg.

Preddy500 and his Bronco. He was lead on this little dune jaunt and did a dang fine job.

I really thought this modded out Yota was cool.

Some of the group tried their luck around this small bowl.

Ralph thought I should get a shot of this...

...and I missed this...

Things got real exciting in a short period of time.

Everyone raced over to help.

Luckily no one was hurt and the Jeep was turned back on its wheels.

The Jeep blew a bead on one its tires and there was plenty of time for pics.

Sno-Gimp and Macdogg cheez it up for the camera.

Everyone was too happy to help get the rig running again.

There were two of the new Toyota Land Cruisers in the group. One guy got his "throttle on" and really got into it.

I was really impressed with the new Land Cruiser...and not just its price tag either.

It engine was extremely quiet, purred like a cat and seemed to have plenty of power.

Here's a good poster shot. The new Criuser seems to "float" through the sand very well.

Is this a great shot or what...?

Hey Toyota ad execs, I have the full resolution pics. Just email the duneratt@hotmail.com for the originals...hehe.
