April 1, 2006 started out pretty mild. Cool, cloudy weather was a nice change from pouring rain and some snow the week before. We actually got out early enough to be the first ones on Choke and Devil's. Sadly, I had a "great idea" and took the baffle off of my Kawi's silencer. It ran marginally at best and pretty much put a damper on my ride for the morning. The next day, however, turned out partially sunny and turned into some pretty good dunin'. I caught a few minutes out around Crapo's in the late afternoon, took some pretty good pics, and ran into a few Ratt's Nest members.
The die-hards came out for a cool wet day.
