Sept. 30, 2005: Duneratt! what is up! been checking out your site today to prepare for this weekend...we are leaving in about an hour to go to egin lakes!!!! wahoo...i have only been once and that was last year about this time too...man i love those hill climbs! your site is definetly the best one i have found on info about and for the SA dune area thanks for putting that together.
Oct. 3, 2005: We had a blast as usual. Friday night was pretty windy but it calmed down right about dusk, Sat was windy also...about 20 mph + winds but still fun and again it calmed down in the evening. Sunday morning it started raining and was bitterly cold! We made breakfast and got a fire going and decided to ride anyway...it finally stopped raining about 10 or 11 and stayed cold and cloudy but the dunes were smooth and hard! It was so sweet riding when it was wet! And as usual I am very sore and tired.
