July 01, 2005

The friday evening before the 4th of July weekend, me, Ralph, Forest, and Ralph's son Beau caught the last few hours of the day and took a little ride out on the dunes. It was pretty hot early on and I really felt the difference between riding in the mornings and riding after a day's work. As it got later, though, things cooled down and the cool air started to bring back a little life to my worn out ol' carcass. We found a few good jumps and took a little time to mess around with the camera. We aren't what you would call "Extreme Jumpers" but we have a blast anyway. Anyway, other than Forest running out of gas and the BLM and Fremont County recreation Nazis hassling us about being out after quiet hour (getting some gas back to Forest) we had a pretty darn good time and started the 4th of July weekend off right.

Trying to get myself off the ground.

Forest and Ralph line up for a dual jump.

Just a little more daylight left.

Found a pretty good jump just before we go back in.
