First time out of the chute (taking pics for the web page), can you believe the luck? I get a shot of this poor guy. I'm sitting on the small dune just east of Crapo's when I hear "Thud! Clunk!". Notice the tracks in the background. Jumped into a pile of lava rocks and broke his ride. (Also notice front left wheel listing at an odd angle.)
That big rock in the middle of the tracks....that's the culprit. That just happens to be a for sale sign on the front.
Buddies finally caught up. Notice offending rock in the foreground. Ballsy jump, but if you haven't seen the other side before or aren't sure what's over there....not a good idea to blindly jump. It might be another duner not just rocks on the other side. This guy was a great sport about it, though, and let me take some shots.
