Newly expanded, the BLM campground now has around 50 campsites. If you want to be right where the big dunes begin and the dunin' action starts, this is the spot. However, the campsites only have power and the BLM is calling this Full - Hookup. The nearest water is a few spigots located (at most) a few hundred feet away with sewer being a dumping station located in the west end of the Day - Parking area. If you are staying for more than a few days and do not want to use the well lit toilet facilities conveniently located about the camp, you will have to pull over to the dump station to at least empty grey and black water and you can also fill with water there.

The Egin Lakes access road. (The Road to Valhalla). Newly paved with high performance velocity inhibitors (speed bumps).

The BLM and Sherrif's stations above. Information is available there.

Ample day parking.

Unloading ramp in the day parking area with Crapo's Hill (Thunder Mountain ) in the background.

Large spots for large parties.

Services extend on down to dry camps on the west end. All have picnic tables but not all have canopies.

Around 50 camping slots both dry and with power. Water spigots are located in a few spots around the cirular drive.

The nearby shallow lake is an excellant place to take the kiddies to cool off. Take your favorite floaty thing and go bob around the lake.

Riding through the shallows can be a hoot.

Its fun just to ride around the shoreline, but be careful. You never know what you might hook-up with going around that sharp turn.
