If you're looking for Small Town USA you don't have to look any further than St. Anthony, Idaho and Big J's Drive In.

Sometime back in the Seventies, yours truly went from the small country grade school in Parker, Idaho to the much larger South Fremont Junior High School in the big city of St. Anthony. A great big treat for all of us "inmates" at SFJHS at that time was the chance to walk the two small blocks down to Big J's for lunch. From that time through High School and now some few decades later with kids of my own, its remained the same great little place. It's that same small town burger joint with the look, feel, and taste that makes you feel like you've come home. With time as a tell-tale, it says a lot that Big J's has survived through some pretty tough times in St. Anthony when even the local A&W is ancient history. So do yourself a favor and head on in to Big J's for a real treat. It's got the DuneRatt guarentee. Come to think of it, that old junior high was even torn down some years ago...

On a final note, Big J's left handed claim to fame is being the forerunner of the Big J's in Preston that was featured in the hit movie Napolean Dynamite. In fact I think that Napolean's Grandma comes to the SA Big J's when she's up here dunin'. ;o)

My Favorites are the Combo Pizza Bomb, the Big J's with Bacon and Mushroom, and the Deep Fried Mushrooms! In that order. Their Pizza Bomb is "da bom"!
